Horse riding

We have a licensed riding school at Treworgey for those staying in our two shepherd’s huts. We offer riding lessons and supervised hacking through the local lanes. Riding is available every weekday morning until lunchtime. Pony clubs are available during school holidays on some afternoons.

Lessons are taken in the 60m x 20m outdoor area which has an all weather surface. Beginners are warmly welcomed, as are the more experienced who want training in dressage and showjumping.

If you would like more information about riding at Treworgey, including prices and booking form, please visit the riding school’s page (part of Treworgey Cottages website).

Please note that in peak school holiday times, riding is limited due to huge demand in the riding school. We put our horses first and don’t over work them.

Disclaimer:  Although we have provided riding for years here at Treworgey without interuption, horses can be ill or lame just like people. In no event will Treworgey or it’s proprietors be liable to provide riding, though we will do our very best to do so. For example should we be be struck with horse lameness or cold and flu viruses or instructor illness etc.
