Tucked away in a completely secluded spot on the western side of Treworgey farm (1/2 a mile from our other hut!), the Lambing Hut is a traditional shepherd’s hut for glamping . It has a full-size real double bed with crisp cotton linen and a pocket-sprung mattress, a twin gas-ring cooker, table and chairs and a log burner to keep you toasty. Arguably the best thing about it though is the magnificent view over the rolling Cornish hills.
Fresh drinking water is available just outside the door and solar powered lights are fitted so you can stay up playing games, reading your book or just chattering away into the night. Unlike many glamping places where bathrooms are shared, here you have your own private shower hut with hot shower, basin and composting loo, in a separate hut about 20 yards away. A log burner keeps the shower hut cosy in colder weather. The Lambing Hut has it’s own parking spot at the bottom of the field (which is on a fairly steep hill, so you do need to be fit and able to stay here).
