Before we came, a friend mentioned that it sounded like a good place to touch the stars.  And how true that proved to be.  A beautiful haven in a stunning setting, somewhere to be quiet, to recuperate and to get grounded again.

It is widely believed that stress equates to illness. Well…If only the NHS could send us away for a short break at Treworgey! The silence is absolutely wonderful. The staff here are very helpful, polite and friendly; nothing is too much trouble. The facilities at Treworgey are second to none. We particularly enjoyed playing tennis and took advantage of the horse riding facilities.

Beverooni, Tripadvisor - The Shepherd's Hut

Peace and quiet, views, stars, a happy little dog and excellent facilities. The bathroom hut with shower (no chlorine in the water) and a charcoal burner for a spot of luxury was perfect. Added to this, access to the pool and the cozy information centre with a local produce shop with honesty box and the and secret veg garden. just perfect!

Christine S - Tripadvisor - The Shepherd's Hut

The warm light of candles flickering, a fire burning, hot water and an outdoor shower.  What a stripped back, simple yet lovely place.  And the view!  Expanse of ocean, headland, boats sailing.  Such darkness, or the entire Milky Way depending on the night – either stunning.  Morning mist.  What a backdrop to get away.  We went fishing, swimming in the cove, went to Fowey, cooked food and sat around playing cards and drinking whisky late into the night.  If only I knew a few sea shanties to finish it off!
